It happens. I know I have been feeling a bit more cranky myself just from the frustration that has been building from the lack of activity on the job front. It's why I have been leaning into good natured goofing around even more on here and sticking to as much positivity as I can.

I can't speak to the circumstances behind @1lowlife latest ban but the guy has been on pain meds due to a shoulder replacement which can certainly impact a persons mood and ability to filter themselves. That being said, our mods have always been fair and understanding so if he caught a ban, he probably deserved it.

At the end of the day, you have to imagine yourself sitting in the "livingroom" of whomever owns this website. Would you act this way as a guest in someone else's house? If not, then take it as a sign to chill out.

 

I almost got banned once. The mod told me I should know better, and he was right.

At this point, I have a general plan. I hope I can stick to it. I’m not opposed to buying some Miller light if I have to, for example.

That's just a standard I hold myself to. I don't expect anyone else to follow that nor do I judge folks. We all know how toxic and shitty the internet can be. We can choose to add to that shittiness or instead bring some cheer and levity to it.

I legitimately laugh so hard at some of the shenanigans in this thread I have tears streaming down my face. I would rather have more of that than anger and rage but that's just me...

Can't criticize because I've been there. Let go with the tongue and usually regret it immediately afterward.
I try to live by an extremely simple rule:
Don't be a dick to people. (Regardless of how much you think they might deserve it at the time.)

 

Kudos to the staff for proving again and again how well run this site is. It's tough holding the line sometimes, but accountability is for everyone, and you continue to hold the line, regardless of the offender. Everyone is dealing with something, I hope he's okay and that he'll return with a clear mind and realize he can do better.

I’ve had three. The last two times I’ve done this, they let me do the Gatorade/Miralax prep.

The first time, the stuff I drank was TERRIBLE and it was excruciating trying to drink it all. I can’t remember what it was.

 

Pretty sure it was a mixture of castor oil, battery acid and something my cat barfed up a week ago.
