I put bug stuff on the yard today, the dogs are starting to itch.
I guess it's been 3 months since the last application.
As I finished, I saw one of the bolts missing from my 30-year-old Scott's Speedy Green 2000.

Thought about tossing it and buying a new one, but WAIT.
What if one of the thousands of spare nuts and bolts I've saved over my lifetime would fit?
To the hardware organizer I go..................

And there it was, probably a spare part from some furniture I put together in a previous century.
It fit perfectly and now my broadcast spreader lives on for another 30 years...

We’re at the Temple Grandin Equine Center for horse riding with the daughter. It’s too hot for them to ride, so they are doing some horse care. Prince, and a new horse named Handy.

Why do men shave their legs anyway? A friend's son does it because he rides mountain bikes and says it is terrible pulling dry blood out of leg hair when he gets injuries. I guess I don't understand A mountain bike would probably be good for my fat ass though.

 

It actually is smart for cyclists. I knew people in college that rode a lot. If you dump the bike and start skidding the hair tears out and does more damage. With legs supermodel smooth you slide better with less injury

I do the exact same. Keep old spare screws/bolts in a similar organizer. It has saved me from going to hardware store countless times.

 

Think I need to write an elevator etiquette book. People continue to amaze me at their blind ignorance.
