I'm not a morning person, but really do enjoy the ~4 weeks every summer where it's daylight on my drive to work. Especially when I have to wear sunglasses.

Making my coffee right now and staring out the window...headlights are officially needed today. Kind of a bummer...

It's been a gloomy July in my area. Morning clouds that don't burn off until noon with them rolling back in around 3 pm. I have also noticed the mornings generally being darker. I'm not looking forward to the super short days of winter with hardly any sunshine.

While I don't miss the heat of Arizona, I do miss the countless perfect sunrises and mornings...

For extreme dry hands and feet, Aquaphor is the only thing that works for me.

I had that same issue for years and years. No lotion would work. I would always get these cracks all over my fingers.
Then, I had my kidney stone issue and the doc told me I needed to be drinking lots more water. I started doing that and I haven't had any cracked skin since. I don't regularly use lotion and no problems. I think proper hydration was my issue.

That’s an insult to all objects in this universe that identify as a motorcycle.

Motorcycles are much smarter than horses.

Same deal here. This was my life every winter. Dry, cracked skin on the back of my hands and fingers to the point of bleeding.
Increased my daily water intake and no more cracked skin.

I still get "winter skin itch" from being dry but the severity is much less.

This is it right here. Hydrate from the inside for extremely dry and cracked skin. Water is magically connected to all kinds of healing.

Looks like my cell phone number is back in the spam/scammer call rotation. Feels like every 3-4 months I get a flare up of calls that I never answer for 10 or so days before it goes back to one spam call a week.

I wish I could find one of these spam call centers and line everyone up and kick them in the balls from a running start...

Opposite for me, I look forward to the short time in winter when I can actually turn on my headlights driving to work. I did the OEM LED upgrade and never use them. I rarely go out at night and on worknights during the summer it's still light near the time I go to bed.

I get my share of these.
You're far too kind to give them just temporary pain.
I wish them their own reserved little corner in hell where they can do nothing but be on the receiving end of spam calls and emails with no means of blocking them for an eternity.

With the occasional kick in the sack just for funsies.

FWIW, it's been my observation, that the jobs I didn't end up landing freed me up for something better just around the corner. Sucks in the moment but in hindsight can be a blessing.

Wishing you the best with your continued search!
