I have been sitting down to pee for many years now. Once again could not care less about the man card thing. It keeps the bathroom much, much more clean. I completely agree that a urinal at home would be pretty slick though

I’m just not representing my generation. It’s just a wake up call is all. I need to be splattering the seat with amused stoicism. It’s just good practice for life.

I'm not judging or making any inferences to manliness but I want to pose a simple question:

What do you do when you are outside in the wilderness and have no bathroom available? Did you squat down or just whip it out and relive yourself whilst standing?

With the aforementioned preamble out of the way, I posit the following:

It is a natural instinct for men to pee standing.

We've been really happy with it so far. It's a 2018 that we bought used in 2022. The previous owners took really good care of it.

I think I need to adjust my WDH, though because I get a fair bit of squat when it's fully loaded. I'd like to eventually go to a heavy duty truck but I'm not sure that will ever happen.

Splashing pee in the woods isn't the same as a tile floor. The tile has to be cleaned daily while the outside never has to be cleaned.

Sure does. Auto shop and metal shop all 4 years in HS. First solo rebuild was a Covair engine. We built a 5th wheel horse trailer/camper my senior year. Quite the project. 71-74

I totally concede that splashage is an externality that requires remediation, hence why I would love to have a standing urinal. But the seated position does not provide complete assurance that all of the theoretical urine will be deposited within the toilet forthwith.

I sit to pee during the night, our master bath is off the bedroom, so as not to wake the Mrs. I sit and go quietly.

Mine is the utility sink in the laundry room, right off the garage and kitchen. I am not allowed to use it if we have company over though.

Oh, idgaf. I will piss where needed. Plenty of times on road trips, in bfe I will pull over, walk to a bush (out of view so I cannot be charged with public indecency) and pee.
