Because if you keep it close to maxed out, if someone hacks it then they will max it out right away
I commend you for buying that. Far too many people on the water will go without any life vest at all or with a minimal stylish one Even though they are someone who definitely should have a life vest.
    No doubt lol.

Also as far as hash browns, they are another thing that can be incredible but most often are pretty mediocre because they are not cooked right. Usually they are not crispy enough and they are just kind of wet soggy limp grossness. Sometimes they even cook it real hot so the top has a nice crust and underneath is cold.

You need to check for skimmers.... They are frequently installed in the pay at the pump readers; almost unnoticeable, but you can check for them before inserting or swiping. AM/PMs in Cal and NV were hit hard w/them about a decade ago, but scammers will generally install them at 24-hour stores, as they just wait for the clerks to not be paying attention and then set up 1 or 2 of them on the pump readers and bounce....

Regarding your whole floatation issue... skip the skis or wake boards and just sit your butt in a tube :muscleflexing:

Whatever this forum told me to do

the only physical scan was getting boat gas @ Shell. that's gotta be it.

it's not skis....it's a surfboard. I have too much inertia to go 30mph on skis. 10.3mph is my lane.

you will not ever get me in a tube....or ever get me out, if you did get me in it!

    thx.

I'm the boat captain that makes EVERYONE wear a vest.

we have a whole rack of vests in the garage - with every size and color.

if you aren't getting in...you're wearing one of those lightweight fishin' rigs.

because...if you don't wear one...and if I have to jump in and get you, I'm going to punch you in the nose before I pull you in.

Too many times to count. Probably once a year for the better part of a decade until I switched banks. Only been once now in 4 years. Good times.

My debit card is never used anywhere but inside local stores. It is never used online.

If somebody gets a card, I'd much rather they get my credit card. Its not attached to any of my real money. I can easily say "that's not me" and they cancel it and dispute charges with no major headache to me.

lately, I've had this phrase in my head.

    "the edge of civilization"

and I look for it daily:

like when an intersection light goes out & turns into a 4 way stop.

power goes out when you are in Walmart.

wi-fi goes out in your house.

    etc...

in all those examples...the shit turns bad QUICKLY.

A few times. First time it happened I found out because the POS used it to buy an expensive laptop, but they forgot to unclick the "ship to billing address" box and FedEx delivered it to me.

Had an appt today at the periodontist. They wanted to give a deep cleaning out on the left side where wisdom teeth used to be so they dont need to operate on it, like they did on the other side. Fortunately, the pockets weren't deep enough to that point. Should be good to go now.

Had a phone appt with head/neck dept today..gonna get the nose cauterized so these damn daily nose bleeds in this dry state can stop. Set for the end of the month.

Hey bud, sorry it's been online job hunting and family time. Plus storm prep. Haven't had any fun online in a bit.

So far, lots of rejections with no interviews. Staying positive but also getting nervous.

We will see. I will try to get online and catch up here either today or tomorrow. My boy turned 10 months yesterday and decided to start walking, so it's been crazy the last 24 hours here.

Not sure about everyone else, but my 'unlimited' plan only allows 3GB of unthrottled data, then they bump it down from 5G to 3G speed (mixing my 'G's here). At 3G speeds, I don't know that I could do work.

The periodontist? I had it done I think earlier this year on the right side. IIRC, insurance covered all but maybe $40-50? We have double coverage. Even had them throw in some nitrous for funsies for a bit last time to "try it out", but insurance wont cover that =(
