Liezel (Husky/Shepherd Mix) Wife's pup, we really have no idea on her age. We got her in 2018 (after what we believe was her 2nd litter) she was being fostered while she had her litter and through the weining process. We believe she was between 2 and 4, so about 9-11 now

Trigger (Spaniel) He'll be 12 in October

 

Wooden dowels would be much more effective and more funner to watch.... trust me on that one

If we're talking about OG cocktails... since we've got some senior citizen gym rats floating around here, what about the OG Caffeine, Asprin and Effedriene stack for pre-work back in the day before such things as NO and creatine...

If I recall correctly, when I was about 18, it was ECA stack; wait 15 minutes; head out to the gym; crank up Kick Start My Heart on the way; arrive at the gym (about 30 minutes post stack), and.....



Sadly though... I never broke through 4 plates and a nickel (hit that in my early 20s and one shoulder injury later never back in the 400s)

Ultimate Orange was great (at first), but then GNC contracted w/someone to mass produce it; and it was never the same...

It became a watered down product!!!!

I believe the original recipe came from Dan Duchane

 

This is what it became when supplement companys started naming all their supps to sound like anabolic... 'Deca' this and 'bolin' that!!




The product was crap at this point...


The OG product was in one of the old Nesquik style containers made of cardboard that you had to peel the paper top off take a scoop or two then seal up w/the plastic snap lid

I never used either... but was very close to doing so!!! Dude I trained with was an EF actually for selling steroids; he was currently coaching 2 bodybuilders and 2 soon to be pro football players! One guy, Dave, was 6'1" 335 off season about 315 on season (not bodybuilder condition) but ox strong and could run a 4.9 - 40yd at that weight... I watched Dave push over 600 on flat (no pause, but still). He allegedly pushed 58 reps (225) during a tryout at SD Chargers camp, but unfortunately a lot of them didn't count (I can't remember I thought it was the low 40s)...

Anyhow, the coach (as we called him), Pat was his name... ended up talking me out of it as he knew what I was looking to do later in life, and basically told me, 'man once you go down that route you never come back'... So, I just remained as competitive w/the group as I could and put on as much size and strength as I could by eating a LOT and lifting heavy. Eventually though, you hit a point where you're no longer competitive w/o PEDs (as in most sports)... well except for some of those Canadian ones

Every once in a while, I think back on that time in my life and really have to thank Pat.... for taking the time sit down with me, shoot straight about a controversial topic, and give some really good advice without trying to make the decision for me

We were standing on vail pass watching it for 30-40 minutes. The storm cell was approx 25 miles away in Fairplay, and kept moving SE from there. So lucky for us, we didn't get anything from this cell but it was a beaut to watch it change as the sunset painted it.
