Well, I ruined my weekend. Had a wire bounce into my eye at work yesterday and now its all irritated. My vision is fine, but its really sensitive to light and motion at the moment. It's a lot better than it was yesterday, but I just tried drive to the 7-11 down the street and it really bothered me. So back to the couch I sit. If it's still bothering me on Monday I'll go see my eye doctor, but I think it'll be ok by then.

Get it looked at. A few years ago I was drilling into my trailer frame to install new stabilizers, I had safety glasses on, but some of the shavings slipped by. It took multiple visits over a couple of weeks for them to dig it all out.

Yeah, it can get quite spendy, especially if like me, your kids ends up being a big/tall guy and his friends who represent most of the O and D line of his high school varsity football team frequent your house.

It's a good place to nap, especially if you're married. Speaking from my own experiences here. They'll leave you alone if you're working on the car for the most part.

It was the only peace and quiet I could get.

I always thought they should have a Serta/Snap-On collaboration for a sleeper creeper. Basically an automotive creeper that was mattress too.

In current times with the current degradation of American English, it probably won't matter. Same way swearing every other word doesn't "really" matter. The communication will occur. The impression left, however, may not be favorable.

To convey my point I would throw out the ol' uno reverse to your question. Why is it difficult to follow a simple rule of grammar if you know what the rule is? It really isn't hard, is it? No, but apparently putting forth that minimal effort is too much. If something so small is too much to ask then what level of effort can be expected from that person in other aspects?

As @French Avocado said, it's a little jarring and unpleasant.

Now, here's my hypocrite side; I am not nearly as bothered in spoken language as I am in written. Well, to an extent. Ghetto slang, gen alpha nonsense, etc. drive me nuts, but what you're talking about isn't terrible. It's a bit of flavor/personality. When written, there is little reason not to do it correctly. :p

North 40 Outfitters in Montana, recently did a fair 5 day comparison with three coolers. A 48 Orca, 45 Yeti, and a 45 Outdoor Revival brand which recently appeared. I have a 45 Yeti and has been great. Surprisingly, the 45 Outdoor Revival came in a close second to the Yeti. The Orca didn't suck at all, but came in 3rd with this particular test. I was looking for a 75. The Yeti 75 is $$$. My local Big R carries Yeti's and the new Outdoor Revival lineup. Picked up the Teal wheeled 7 day 75. Made in Thailand. Well made. No bear proof version yet which is good for my use. Solid latches and easy to freaking unlatch with your hands full. My river property cooler/bench! Big R has a full line of kuul accessories which is a plus. One is an ice pack that attaches to the inside of the lid! Nifty. $300! Damn nice looking cooler. Ha!
