This is my usual order of operations for most DIY projects as well.
I might take a glance midway through if I'm getting stuck.

I'm on my 4th irrigation company in the last 8 years. I think I've finally found "the one."

What rock do you live under??

Punching holes in your face has been popular since the 80's when you were crushing original Budweiser in your Chuck Taylors.

Humanity always seems to take a shit when we're in our late 20s or early 30s.

Yeah, mostly with the punk and alternative crowd back then.

I agree with ya on the late 2000's take though. I'm so glad I was born in the early 80's, what a time to be a kid! :D

Yep. I’m cool with those little diamond ones on the side (like my wife has) as it’s pretty normal now..but nose rings like that? Nah. Almost as much of a turnoff as a smoker

Pulled the ST out of storage and put like 10 miles on her. Would have been more, but it was a sudden opportunity and so I was just in shorts. Didn't feel right riding a bunch more than that.

My wife and I do that too.
We asked our daughter what the appeal of the 'ring' is, she doesn't wear one, and she didn't have an answer.
She has worn a small stud in the past, but never a septum ring that we know of.

But it sure isn't attractive by any means.

No, it's because every other idiot is doing it.
You're giving these attention-seeking yutes way too much credit for self-thought and individuality.

The one I don't get is those huge fake nails. How do you function in your day to day life with those?

We had an intern with fake fingernails. She was a great employee and I recommended that we hire her back permanently but I can't see those staying long once she's back.

    Door dash and similar

who, in their right mind, would allow strangers to deliver your fast food?

That is just crazy and irresponsible

More power to y’all that use that service

and have enough money to pay a huge premium for Burger King

We just ate at cane’s chicken and saw 4 door dash pickups

It's no different than getting pizza delivered. There's many times where it's nice. A few examples are when you are sick and don't feel well enough to leave the house, when you are inebriated and are a responsible human being that won't drive drunk, if you had an extremely long day and you want to have food ready to eat immediately when you get home, or if the weather is really bad out and you don't feel like leaving the house because it's so cold or so hot or raining etc. You definitely are paying a premium for convenience and it's not wise to do it all the time, but definitely comes in clutch sometimes.
