For some reason, all the sushi talk got me craving ceviche.
I don't eat it often and usually at the same restaurants.

But being the wife is at a work function tonight, she won't eat it, I made it for the first time.
    Shrimp and fish ceviche tostadas.
I looked thru a few basic recipes and took what I wanted.
Added jicma to it, the first time I ever bought one, to give it a little crunch.

    It was pretty damn good.
Next time I will cut the shrimp and fish a little bigger..
I can't believe I ate the whole thing..

    Oh hell no.
    1. It's seafood
    2. It's raw. IDGAF what some people say, the citrus does not "cook" it.

    It's not raw, silly.
The texture changes like it has been cooked.

    I didn't realize you disliked all seafood..:eek2:

    Enjoy your Kirkland tacos...

I crashed out in the recliner, covered with a minky couture, and I slept great.

Getting on the road in a few hours to go see my buddy, and to get the steering column plastics replaced on the Ferd.

Yeah, it was like that when I bought it. Logistics to get it in and get parts has been the delay.

the Tucker with Anson Frericks is a good watch to learn about the AB debacle.

    Costco is mentioned too.

It's a good casual conversation with someone that was the grand poo-bah.

I found it interesting when he confirms yutes don't drink alcohol anymore....

I got out of beer in 2004...so, I missed all the fun.

That particular seafood is beyond nasty. No question.
    1) Anything called a roach...not meant for consumption.
    2) Anything that has tumors that need to be carefully cut out to avoid poisoning.
    3) Anything that requires it to be drowned in spices, onions, peppers, and sauces in order for it to be even remotely palatable shouldn't be eaten.

That particular animal is a deep sea isopod. I'm not surprised that it carries disease and portions of them are harmful to people if eaten. Their purpose in nature is to eat dead things that land on the bottom of the ocean. For those who aren't familiar with isopods, the rolly polly bugs we played with as kids are related to them and are a terrestrial version of isopod.

    https://duckduckgo.com/?t=hc&hps=1&q=rolly+polly+bugs&atb=v450-1&ia=images&iax=images

These animals serve an important function in every healthy ecosystem. They scavenge and consume dead things and are the janitors of nature. Buzzards are birds but we don't eat them because they are full of diseases from eating rotting and dead animals. Same thing as these deep sea isopods.
