Reminds me of high school days when half way thru the stereo instal

 

I have learned that it is best for me to not engage directly in these situations. If I get involved I will make things worse instead of de-escalating. It's better to let the onsite property manager or police handle it depending on how severe things are. I usually just leave it alone 99% of the time. This apartment complex is actually very quiet compared to other places I have lived.

More than anything, I miss having my own house and having enough space to not even hear the neighbors...

I called the police (non-emergency line) on my neighbor the other night. I'm across the street, and I could hear the music in my bedroom after 10pm. No muss, no fuss, and the music stopped.

Also, I'd blamed it on the teenaged boys, but my wife came home the other evening and said the dad was sitting in his Mustang (mid-life crisis car) listening to the stereo (after dark, but earlier than 10pm). I'm guessing something's going on inside that he'd want to be out in his car late at night...
