Getting this base moulding done. Oh man, I have a lot of caulking to take care of today.

And I have to remember my rule around the house, we always say caulking with an “ing” added.

Who was it that said they hate listening to upspeak? I wasn't focused on that before, but now I am, and it's my new most horrible torture. So thanks.

I went to Sierra Trading Post a few days ago to find some cheap sweat pants. All they had was this men’s active wear stuff with tapered cuff legs. I was standing there thinking, what would @GODZILLA say if he saw me wearing these. :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::bananadead:

You've heard me say it before but I wish we didn't have these warm days in our winter cycle. 32° and below is what I want from dec-March. Keeps the snowpack safer without all the freeze thaw cycles. And I "struggle to survive" winter the same way I do in summer. I spend time outside and time in the backcountry. My favorite activity in winter is skinning into backcountry cabins that can be reserved and used as base camps for skiing terrain beyond the resorts. No crowds, deep pow and friends and family enjoying their time together in the mountains. I try to get in a few hut trips each season beyond my resort days.

Fowler Hilliard Hut awaits in the distance.

Prospect Peak lies beyond with a fresh blanket of snow to be devoured. You can see the skin track on the left flank heading up to the peak. IMG_0301.jpg
