Acid Bath and Melvins are some good sludge, too. And Isis if you're looking for post-sludge.

Lots of good bands listed on the previous pages. I'm with @JMB, just about everything except (most) gangsta rap and (most) opera. Started to list a bunch of bands, but it's really almost everything.

Weird how minds work. Prine is one of my favorites, too, and I follow up listening to Prine songs by listening to Tom Waits songs, and a lyric from a Tom Waits song (The Train Song) inspired one of my other favorite songs from a great band The Gourds. They also covered Gin and Juice from Snoop Dogg, and he reminds me of the differences between west coast rap and east coast rap like Run D.M.C., who covered Aerosmith, who I saw at the Texxas Jam with Boston, which reminds me of the Drop Kick Murphys, which is on my same playlist with Avenged Sevenfold.

I wouldn't be surprised if a fire from a homeless encampment got caught up by the warm winds and took what would have been a small brush fire and turned it into the current firestorm. Homeless encampment fires cause a ton of small fires throughout the state on a pretty regular basis as they are burning plastics, pieces of tires, etc...There was one under a freeway overpass that caused millions in damage and shut down a freeway down in SoCal.

Not commenting on the politics or root cause of homelessness.

And here in SE NC, last year, the various homeless factions were trying to burn each other out by setting each other's camps on fire. Luckily, there no serious injuries and it never spread out of hand, but it did cause some anxious moments on occaision.

The only good rappers are MF DOOM and Aesop Rock (not to be confused with ASAP Rocky). Eminem used to be decent back in the day too.

This is what a local radio station considers the 9 best Led Zeppelin songs. I would definitely remove Stairway and You Shook Me and add No Quarter and Kashmir. Not sure which other changes need to be made.

Oof. This list isn't even close. 10 Years Gone, When the Levee Breaks, No Quarter, Going To California, Houses of the Holy, Dazed and Confused, What Is and What Should Never Be, D'yer Mak'er, The Ocean, Wearing and Tearing...

I wore Zeppelin out when I was younger so I can't say they're a favorite band anymore, but whoever compiled that list should maybe listen to more of them.

To be fair, this is from the "classic rock" radio station that now plays Linkin Park, Foo Fighters and grunge so you need an extra large grain of salt when dealing with any of their musical recommendations.
