We checked out SW ID in Sept, and 2025 will include multiple trips to MT and North ID. Trying to get the wife excited about visiting NW WY for our anniversary next year… she’s not finding that as “romantic” and I had hoped

Sometimes I wish reality was as cordial as a heavily moderated forum.

Early this morning, I went out to shovel my driveway and sidewalk. If I'm out first, I always shovel my next door neighbor's sidewalk as well as the elderly lady's walk, who lives next to him. And if my neighbor is out first, he usually gets both of ours.

This morning he was out first. And for the first time in the 2 years I've been here, my walk wasn't shoveled. Instead, my side had extra snow on it.

I feel bad for people who live like that. He's been a good neighbor and I don't plan to treat him any different than I have since moving here. We have each other's garage codes for crying out loud! Haha

 

Well, it's all your fault, don't you know?! That's a bit sad and a lot funny, though. I hope he gets over it and you guys can be good neighbors again.

 

We saw Sheridan years ago on a drive from MT to CO. It definitely checks some boxes. This trip will be into Cody.

 

Ah... Cody is more of the desert pretty than the trees and mountains pretty. A bit sparse on amenities.

I had my geography backwards. NW Wyoming is expensive because of Yellowstone and the Tetons. All the rich transplants live up there. If you don't like snow, you'll hate it in the winter.

 

As @GZ pointed out, this is both funny and awful. Humanity sure is a fickle thing.
