I had the same regret today that I have sometimes. If I had started collecting belly button lint years ago, I could have made something really cool by now, like a small pillow or a scarf. Don’t be like me and just throw it all away.

Not really. Politics aren't allowed on here, so people will be silent rather than risking a 30 day ban. The day will be interesting, but I think the comments here will be fairly mundane.

 

I didn't mean folks would be talking politics here. Just that there would be a lot more activity everywhere due to the election. I'm glad election day is here so hopefully everyone can finally stfu about the election in a few days.

I have browsed through that thread, some of the mod comments are straight up hilarious!

 

Here you just have to have at least 3 hours off work at some period during the day when the polls are open. So some people just leave work a bit early.

Agree. Voting and having rights to do so is a good thing. It's just the drama that it causes among so many that isn't so good. I wish more Americans were like the majority of us in this thread. Agree to disagree instead of expecting someone to have the same alignment as oneself in order to get along.

 

I think there are so many more just like the folks in this thread. It's just not conducive to the division narrative to show it. I really believe that most Americans can disagree and still be civil. We only ever hear the idiots because the idiots are really really loud.
