Yep. Hence my new shoe shelf build by the entrance... if I see extra space in my home, believe me, it becomes shoe shelves.

Don't slow his roll. He needs a reason to spend money. We're here to support our fellow brother, not apply logic and reasoning.

I’m on the line of using the shelves for whatever, and just getting them a cabinet to put their shoes in.

Ariens snowblower. I like the blower because it moves the snow far instead of a plow that creates a solid wall. I can also throw it so that when spring comes it melts it's already on the low side of my driveway and away from my house. My driveway and street that I blow is about 150 yards long. We don't get county plows at all on my road. Takes about 30/40 minutes if it's a big storm (more than 12") 20 or so minutes for a "dusting". I run it on anything over 3" accumulation.

between my neighbor and myself we clear the road to our drives. He has a Honda and if I wanted to spend more money that's what I would also have. 28" bucket.

That is a decision that I don't ever want to make. More than 0 inches sucks.

    Very nice.
We've got a plow truck here, my FIL 01 Chevy. I try and plow with a little speed so it throws the snow. 250 yard gravel driveway.

An enclosed tractor with a front mount blower is my dream :D

I actually really look forward to winters and the blanket it brings. The time I invest grooming my driveway and playing in the snow every time it falls keeps me young at heart in so many ways. I'm also very thankful there are many humans like yourself. It's already too crowded for my liking.

As I age I could see this becoming mine as well. Not that I push my blower though.

I'm the same way w/the snow; anytime it starts to come, I find myself wanting to go play in it... I think not having to work in those conditions and dealing w/timelines and such on workday makes all that a lot easier though

Yeah my longest drive in the winter is usually to the resort or a trailhead. I couldn't imagine running patrol all day dealing with all the slide offs and wrecks and any other duties... luckily, work is 3/4 a mile away for me.

Whatever this forum told me to do
    all this snow talk.

FTR - I have NEVER been in snow.

yes, it has snowed here in Houston, but that ain't real snow.

I truly don't know how y'all survive that shit.

last time it snowed here, Houston went ape-shit and thought a nice game of bumper-cars was a good idea.

Whatever this forum told me to do
resting in garage yesterday after dynamic bench day.

Wife is at her parents house

she thought she could simply get the folks netflix back to working.

they called my son when a QR code popped up on TV to reset password

they were taking a picture of it.....and wondering why nothing happened*.

    shit ran downhill from there....

my son went over there and got them squared up.

it is truly amazing the amount of knowledge that skips over various peoples.

so, yes....it took 3 generations of my gene pool to reset a Netlix password.

    life is good.

*ponder that. My wife drives a Tesla, with all its high tech wizardry....and she can't operate a QR code.
that says a lot about the Tesla interface.

certain folks can operate on Iphone, but can't do math or write or speak decent english.

again, Iphone (any smartphone)has an amazing interface. they teach idiots to use social media and spend $ needlessly. but not how to be a valuable member of society.
