All I know is that I’m going to have to start writing this all down. Maybe make a diagram, who likes what, etc.

To make it easy on you, I don't like anything that most people like. So, instead of asking me if I like something, just assume if it's popular I don't :rofl:beer? No. Metallica? No. Bacon? No.

If it tasted like a real beer - Bell Haven or the like - then hell yeah. Man, what I'd give for great tasting alcohol free bourbon...

I just wrote down — hates most things that most people like; wildcard.

I dialed the “anything” word back a hair to give you some breathing room.

I'll pass on N/A beer. I don't see a reason in taking in the calories and bloating from a beer without alcohol being present. That being said, while I have gone through parts of my life where I was a heavy drinker I don't really drink much these days. I generally prefer to be clear eyed and clear headed in life. I don't judge those who do drink, I see it as a socially acceptable activity and have close friends who are heavy drinkers.

I have, but it's not my preference.

    I think you're just a young curmudgeon.

Don't worry though, you'll know a curmudgeon when you see one: He'll be ill-tempered and miserly, eager to shake his fist and spout disagreeable opinions.

Since we seem to be discussing old folks v young folks, how many of you are on or nearing Medicare?
I'm researching options, part C, Medicare Advantage, seems to be the reasonable choice. But when I talk to friends, they all have parts A, B, D and supplemental. Thoughts?

I don't go to the doctor except every couple years for my mandatory DOT physical. Beyond that, I have to be dying to set foot in a medical establishment. They are financial vampires. Why in the hell would I want to mix that kind of mess with the added incompetence, ineptitude, waste, and lack of useful existence that is government? I'd rather be dead.

Believe it or not, but about 5 or so times a year, I set the Miller Lite aside and go a week or so with N/A stuff. It's a good cleanse before lab work and Dr. appointments and as an old, disabled fuck head, I have a lot of doctors.

The best Lite equivalent I've found is Busch N/A and Total Wine also has a few I like, like Clausthaler. I have yet to try a N/A bourbon, but last time at Total Wine, I found a N/A gin & tonic which was surprisingly good.

You may change your mind about that at some point.

As you age and get normal old guy stuff, you'll find out that it will kill you long term.

And, I had the same attitude about dentists, so I stopped going. Then my teeth started hurting and falling out, so I changed my mind. It was better to be able to eat than take a pointless stand.
