    I love music and, like you, would have it going all the time if my wife and kids were more tolerant of it. I can't work without music. However, the only one of your questions that I can honestly answer yes to is the last one.

    My wife and I have been together since high school in the mid 80s. We listened to all kinds of music back then from past and present decades. I remember she wasn’t wild about Mr. Bungle and Faith No More though. I thought they were both interesting, and hilarious.

    Faith No More cracks me up, to this day they seem like they have perfect songs for large gatherings. Songs like “We Care A Lot”, “Everything’s Ruined” and “Be Aggressive”. Hilarious mockumentary material.

    edit: these are hilarious regardless of who they are introducing.

    I have an important announcement to make

    :ohsnap::blahblah:
    According to my Sleep Data thing, I slept 8hrs and 5mins last night. I was up a few times to pee, let the dogs out, but fell back asleep until 10A

    Yes to all (except vinyl; fun with old speakers but poor bandwidth). Preach, brother!

    My mains in the basement reach down below 40hz before they start to roll off, but I tuned them flat (well, 5 or 6 db of baffle step which is basically flat as your ear hears it). I like a little more bottom end so I still listen in 2.1 mode most of the time. The subs play flat down to 17hz with response down in the 12 hz range. Need two to deal with the room nodes. I mean, need several more, honey, to REALLY get rid of the room nodes…

    Music moves the soul.

    I went a tad off script looking for my pistol. I guess this is my Limited and/or aftermarket wheels. Plus I learned a new term to me — aggressive knurling.

    Congrats on the new purchase. Is it the Beretta 1301 or the Patrol model?

    Thanks! It’s the 1301 Tactical Mod2 with a couple of minor factory upgrades. I looked into getting a Benelli knockoff, such as the one made by MAC, but it seemed too cheap to be a good idea.
