Only if it was made in one of those old skool silver pots that looks like it had been beat w/a ball peen hammer for a good 10 minutes.... (small circular black knob on top of the lid and a sweet ass pour spout)

Pigeonholing is never a good idea but I do feel like a lot of what goes on with beer can be distilled down to:

Clean, clear beer (such as a domestic light beer): The settled ass kickers. Middle school and high school were a great, confidence-building experience and since then I feel set, and even 20-30 years later I see no reason to change or experiment. Nothing wrong with that.

IPAs, and other beers not above: The searchers, the wonderers, the challengers, the sometimes unsettled losers and blue flame specialists. Take another swig.

I get you on why you hate IPA's. They're definitely not for everyone. Kinda like black licorice. It's a love or hate relationship. There really is no middle ground when it comes to either.

I started it as a good part time job to help me pay my way through college. Once graduated, I was still young and unmarried and wanted to F off and travel to world and avoid growing up. And it's one of those jobs that somehow allows one to do this... So after a few years of this, I realized how much I actually enjoyed working in the industry. So here I am riding it out. And it's been a hell of a ride.

Now we're talking. A good cowboy coffee tops any pour over or French press any day. Let the flaming begin.

How do you know when a Vail ski instructor walks into a bar?

A priest, a rabbit, and a Baptist minister walk into a bar. Bartender looks at the rabbit and says: "We don't serve your kind in here." Rabbit says: "Fucking autocorrect..."

    Speaking of autocorrect....

maybe one of you forum MOD types or intellectual types can tell me how to turn off the damn autocorrect specifically for this forum :notsure:

Yes, I understand there are some settings w/in my laptop/software that will autocorrect as well, but the things happening here are on a whole nother level.... doesn't just suggest corrections and such it flat out changes your shit w/o approval

    Not cool :smash::smash::smash:

... and it cuts down on the efficiency of my smartassery as I've got to re-type most of my posts several times to get around it

Not sure, but under your profile, click 'preferences' and uncheck the text editor choice:

    That may do it.

    So, this is really weird....

That worked for fixing the whole autocorrect thing!!!

But then when I try to respond or even post in a thread, the area that I type into is highlighted yellow and my upper tool bar is missing... So, no emojis, B I U, etc.... :notsure:

I love how the "community notes" call out most of the false shit.. on both sides of the political isle.

Yeah, lot of noise and BS to wade through. Hard to get away from that these days

FTW. When New Belgium first released Ranger, I hated it. But I was mostly drinking lagers and Mexican beers then, which was probably just an extension of my college Busch Light days.

Ranger can't be beat, especially on tap, except for the beers OldGuy runs with.

Only two. Was enough. A six pack will last me three weeks. 2 beers per week.

Most lagers seem to be missing something. Good , but missing something. Happens when you get used to IPA's.

    Good stuff here....[IMG]

I also felt them same way about voodoo ranger when it was first released. But Soaked from ORB is hands down one of my favorites. Their New England style IPA has a cult following for a reason. In their Frisco taproom I'd venture to guess over 80% of their offerings are IPA. Sometimes more. Niche for sure.
