Paid the equivalent of $5.40/gallon USD for premium in Canmore over the weekend.

Thankfully I was on my bike but the truck uses premium as well.

Nah. I take metformin, farxiga, rosuvastatin and ozempic. My blood work is perfectic. No side effects.

 

You are fortunate then. Especially with metformin. That is what Mom is on and she gets the dizzy spells and forgetfulness along with fatigue. Sucks and wish they would look for something else, but then she'd have to go to the doc again and she won't. She just wants to be comfortable-ish until she dies.

 

You're the only gym fiend I really know, so I immediately though of you.

You should change the caption to "Don't be this guy!" and then print it out and hang it around the gym.

 

Sucks, but some people are like that. A good doc that listens could fix that probably. The good ones listen to symptoms instead of numbers. We've been fortunate to find a couple like that. I would think that the dizziness is not from the metformin, unless the dose is too high.

One of the most fascinating podcasts I’ve listened to lately is Modern Wisdom #783 with Johann Hari. They talk about Ozempic and GLP-1 agonists extensively. It’s crazy. I see LOADS of people on it in Nashville. Lots of “ozempic face” on Music Row just like in Hollywood (rapid weight loss resulting in excess skin, especially awesome when it exposes filler injections).

Junk food companies are reporting lower profits. Demands of women’s clothing sizes has dramatically shifted. Airline profits will grow as they spend less and less energy getting a thinner population into the air. Think: half the people on a 300-person flight lose 20 lb…that’s 3000 lb less that single plane needs to get into the air.

 

That is by far the most intelligent question asked on the internet today. This year. This decade.
