    Usually sets of 2 28s, sometimes 53s.
Luckily I had a single 28 today, but he had to wait on his loads in White's Creek (Nashville) and he was an hour and a half late.
No fault of his own, shit just happens.

Yesterday I sat in one spot on I-30 in Gurdon Ar for 90 minutes waiting for this to clear up.
I have no idea what happened..

    upload_2024-7-23_22-12-44.jpg

They had to extend my 11-hour drive time and 14 hour on duty time..
On a good day my drive time to the meet and back is 10.5 hours.
Only leaves 30 minutes for the BS..:D

Off to bed, I have to get up in 6.5 hours..

Its amazing how language changes over time for the same exact act performed before the internet ruined everything. Pretty sure they called it Heavy Petting way back when, and we liked it that way.

Today I was pleasantly surprised and have a new hope for humanity. I had a really bad day with trailer tires (again...there is a pattern here with borrowed or rented trailers). I had a young man stop and asked if I needed help. Come to find out, I did. HD rental trailers are actually not theirs. It is leased through a third party that is supposed to take care of the trailers. On these rental trailers are no jacks, tools, and some really dry rotted spares. I just broke my socket for the truck lug nuts and my trailer lug nuts take a 1 1/16 socket...so no bueno. He had some tools and gave me a hand with all the cross threaded lug nuts that some ape torqued down. image.jpg

My lug nuts are torqued to 175 ft #'s. I have no idea what these were torqued at.

Anyway, come to find out this young man was in trade school for welding. I suggested he get the R stamp certification and gave him some contacts and my name to call once he graduates in a few months. Kinda cool how things work out.

Then the spare tire was pretty much flat. After airing up that tire to 80 psi that tire blew a couple miles down the road.

I pulled that damn trailer in on three wheels.

Looking at one of these soon.

Damn, buying vehicles is getting even harder now. What would getting a cool color like blue require now, like a BJ?

    YIKES,

    That wreck looks NASTY...

Pulling 28's was the reason I parked the dump bucket for RPS but a senior owner-op transferred into Florida 6 months later and as you know,

seniority holds precedent; even with Owner-Op "Boards"...

All good , led to me getting the "Next KW" and back to "getting my rocks off" full time...

Nice that they can "Stretch the clock" to help you and them ....Easier than trying to hide 70' behind a Motel 6

Let’s name the trailer RawMaxx…that doesn’t sound at all like a bareback prison squealer.

That pic was as I was transferring stuff over. Did the deal. Been driving as I go on nights Wednesday at 6 PM. Gotta get home in time to get some sleep before work.

So far it's better mileage and smoother ride than the Taco, even with me futzing around with rpms and negatively impacting mpgs. Love having a 32 gallon tank. Range is great so far.

It has the same features as the Pro and then some, except cloth instead of leather. Quality feels nice. Love the bigger back seat.

Don't trust the interstate hands free driving, and was surprised when it activated with the lane departure. Been testing it out a bit and it's weird, but neat.

***EDIT*** I was mistaken. I do not have a 32 gallon tank. I have a 36 gallon tank.

Congrats G... (substitute frothy milk for beer) :D

Here, I'll just get these questions out of the way now...

    1: What's the payload?
2: Does it have tow hooks?
3: Can you fit 295s on it?

That should cover it for now!!!!

Whatever this forum told me to do
California from the point of view of a life long Texan:
    (Burbank/Glendale Area)

    Very nice weather.
the area I was in was very well kept - for 1960's buildings/apts.
    lots of Teslas
    folks are laid back polite.

just about everything else is sub-par.

    everything is foo-foo fake healthy.
    added fees for stupid shit.
    fuel prices are stoopid.
    food is too expensive
about 25% still wear facial masks...for some strange reason.
    Basic freedoms are impaired. 2A.
    TRAFFIC

I spoke to a couple conservatives while outside. they are fed up with EVERYTHING CA.

I did not go to the LA/San Fran shitholes, so, I will make no comment on those. We have similar - Austin/Houston/San Antonio/El Paso.

now, for all you folks that live in & defend CA, God bless you.

Bourbon Steak House was a joke...they screwed up so bad (made us wait 1 hour for food) they brought out Duck spring rolls. Holy Moly I hate duck!!! nasty shit. Steak was fair to middlin'.
