I know they look good on a mantle piece, but to me, they look best when they’re covered with blood, buried in a pile of salad making’s, or slick with grease from a rack of ribs!
Made to look good AND do the job well. Just like our Tundras!

I was all excited when I found this one. Then I saw it's a branded title even though I filter for clean titles only. Pisses me off that it shows up, because it looks great and the price is stellar. The only branded titles I would consider would be if it was hail damage that was repaired by replacing the body panels, or if it was a bent frame that got a factory replacement.

I’m going to have to disagree here. If, after your first cut for access (maybe 2”-3”), you make all the rest of your cuts from the inside to the outside, that fur will stay attached to the hide. Usually I end up with less than a dozen hairs on a deer.

Not a fan of the console shift setup. I also really like the all black interior of the SR base model. Same interior, they just don't spray paint any of the plastic silver.
Next move is to find some TRD wheels, then maybe color match the grille surround, then maybe I'll have a shop paint it Cavalry Blue some day.
After all, my white paint is all going to bubble off at some point.

SR parts fit the SR5s and are pretty cheap. Tell you what, you buy that Cav Blue DCLB 4x4 and I'll buy you the black SR interior parts.

That's funny, I hated the giant column shifter on my '15 double cab!
I love the console shifter, so convenient for changing gears while towing. DC's do look great leveled with bigger tires though.

This is true, but the SR, believe it or not, is closer to the config that I like than the SR5 and up.
It's easier for me to start with an SR that's already 90+% how I want it and just add/mod the few things I want.

I swear all it takes is for me to look at the hide, and it sheds hairs into the air that refuse to land on anything but the meat.

That pic is also from my first time doing it. I will keep what you said in mind, thank you!

That is a big downfall of the 1st gens, but lately I’ve been carrying 5 gals extra on every trip, just in case for someone else, or get me a little further on the way home

Totally! I get it; our LX has the 26 gal fuel tank.

You can swap fuel tanks in the 2nd gen Tundra, but console to column shift is apparently impossible.

That would not be a deal breaker if I were in the market for an LX

    It is possible…

I prefer the console myself. Always have. I just like being settled into my “cockpit”
