It's on all super white Toyotas, regardless of model, within a certain year range.

Nope. Still an if. I'm not wanting to take on more debt, so if the deal doesn't work I'll make do in the Taco.

Yep. That’s how I got my new truck too.

Honest question…what were the reasons you sold your Tundra? I seem to remember the size was too much for the offroad camping you wanted to do. And maybe the mileage…

Off road size was just a justification/rationalization. MPGs never mattered to me. The real reason is because I bought that truck with the goal of it being a family hauler to tow a little camper. The woman I was pursuing liked camping. Loved her and the kids like mad. She strung me along, screwed me over, and then bailed. The the whole purpose of the Tundra was thwarted and I was bitter.

Is it just rock chips? I would do a thorough wash, clay bar, fill in chips with factory color pen from dealer, then correct and ceramic.
This Tacoma had multiple rock chips we filled in for him when he first brought it over.

Our son (11) has been doing pilot lessons every month for the last few months or so. The cool thing is, all hours are logged so it counts towards flight school hours

She wasn't involved in the decision, and I legit made a good one getting the Tundra. It was getting rid of it that was the mistake.

Thing is, I'm glad I bought the Tundra because of her. It brought me here. Trading a snake for the kind of awesome people on here was totally worth it. I just wish I'd had my head on straight about trading it.

    you'll find another. I did.
it was a pita and I had to settle for not the exact config I wanted, but at least it's a Tundra with a V8, 6 speed and 430 rear end.
    I'll have it forever.

For anyone who gets rain, sprinklers etc. please invest in some glass ceramic. It’ll last a few months and save water spots The product will cost you $40 and there’s plenty to go around. It’s stupid simple to apply and I’ll walk you through it. Anyone can do it

Mostly rock chips. These photos are probably terrible. Truck is dirty as usual. Hides the chips, honestly. :D

First one is the hood just behind the bulge. Second is the plastic under the driver side headlight.

Contact wash, and use a paint pen from Toyota to fill. Be careful as it’ll blob up. A tiny bit will go a long way

If you haven’t used a product called Dr. color chip yet, do yourself A favor and order it. You will be shocked at the results if you follow the instructions and are a bit patient

So, in my Tundra hunt I've found two that I am reasonably certain I would be happy with, so long as there is nothing hidden. I do have concerns on each.

First up is the closer of the two. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for...yType=CLEAN_TITLE&zip=82939&clickType=listing

My concern on this truck is the gaps around the grille in the straight on photo. Makes me think there might be hidden/unreported damage. Where the hood meets there is a larger gap on the driver side, and where the grille sits above the bumper the gap is uneven. You can see where it actually looks like it is making contact with the bumper.

The 2nd truck is much farther away. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for...eStyleCode=TRUCKS&zip=82939&clickType=listing

I would be thrilled to get another Cavalry Blue again. The price is right, so long as it's not got hidden fees, and the mileage is appealing.

The justifiable concern of this truck is the obvious wear on the center console and the visible staining on the passenger seat. Is it a flood truck? Beyond that it's just my paranoia about a used vehicle a 1000 miles away that I can't inspect. What if I showed up and it had the cam tower leak. I'd have degraded my trade value for nothing. That or I'd have a hell of a club with which to beat the price down.
