That peanut brittle reminds me of that one whiskey - forget the name, but strong PB, and very sweet

PPS>>> My last 'PS' in that list of PSs was (12) long; a dozen... had you used (13) Ps in your post (a baker's dozen) that would've been clever. However, you used (18) Ps in your PS statement (a guess that would be a dozen and a half). So, that may be even more cleverer... :spy:

Everyday is my Friday... I just can't seem to switch myself to a dayshift schedule. I sincerely tried the first couple of years of retirement, but hated it... So, back to being a night owl and sleeping during the day and up during the night (insert vampire coffin emoji)!!!

I don't do gimicky or sweet whiskey's... But, I have no problem pairing whiskey with a well-balanced salty sweet treat.

PS>>> Probably less calories than one Crumbl cookie :D

So your for real a vampire, I assumed you were joking. Is that just from your past life/sins that you’ve gotten into that habit?

I've always hated waking up to an alarm clock; no matter how much sleep I got the night before I feel like shit all day....

About 95% of my 'adult' life was spent working late swing shift/early graveyard hours; my favorite was working around 1800-0400... I'd get off at 0400, grab a dog or two and head out for a pre-bed coffee, a little dog time, and be back home and in bed by about 0600; wake up around 1400-1500 hours (full 7-9 hours of sleep almost every day), grab morning coffee, get a work out in, have a snack and off to work (never used an alarm clock) and generally felt great all night, most nights.

It was perfect: I'd be sleeping during the bright, sunny hot times of the day w/the AC cranked up; I get up late afternoon as the sun was staring to bleed off and be able to enjoy a sunset if I chose to; work in cooler temps w/less traffic and BS to deal with; get off work in time to enjoy the cool morning air and a sunrise w/my pups; and then head to bed to repeat again....

When I retired and we moved to OR, I tried being up during normal people hours but it just didn't work for me. I was always tired and felt like I didn't sleep well; dragged through most days. I finally gave up on it, and now I just do me. The only problem is most everything in town here closes between 5pm and 8pm (including restaurants), so I've gotta adjust a bit to participate in that sometimes.

and yes, I assume I'm doomed to my preference for this cycle of living as a way of paying penance for my previous sins :anonymous:

This is why I'd struggle at participating in 'events'... most of you would be off getting ready to have some truck fun, and I'd be trying to find someone's trailer that had cool AC running to sleep in :D
