On a positive note, the C&D tells us that Toyota monitors the forums! On a sad note, with confirmation that they monitor the forum, we still got saddled with undersized forced air engines in an ever more suburban soccer mom oriented truck for both the new Tundra and Taco.


Honestly, if my truck got totaled tomorrow I'd probably be looking at the new Honda Pilot or Ridgeline as a replacement. I don't hit the off roads as much as I did in years past, and I prefer an engine that makes adequate power without a turbo or SC. Add those after for extra fun if you like, but it shouldn't need it just to be drivable.

 

What was that dudes (ryan gregg's) position within or for Toyota??? Was he a Tech, Engineer, Service Supervisor????

Why a Pilot over the CRV?

Small, underpowered, can't tow my bike on my trailer, and has a CVT. It also has an inch less ground clearance which matters for the snow.

 

A friend of ours just got the Pilot TrailSport in blue, probably one of the best looking SUVs out there

 

That's the trim I would go for. Has some added clearance and seems pretty loaded on comfort items too. I think I'd do silver, though.

Both those pics are too large. A visible butt, but not beyonce/kardashian/bizarro stuff is fine, but I'm a boob guy all the way. Nice B cups and I'm happy as can be, but I'm down on some As too. Maybe some smaller Cs, but you get to Ds and it's not for me. Don't get me wrong, if Miss Right has big ol' knockers I will make do. I just have my preferences.

How much do your bike and trailer weigh?

 

Trailer alone is almost 1300 lbs. and the Super Tenere ES with no mods is listed at 584 lbs. Add the mods (except the exhaust because it actually saves weight) and I bet it's 600 lbs. without the bags on it.
