At this point, I could be told I was adopted and I wouldn't care. Blood doesn't make family. I'd have no interest in finding my "real" family because to me they would be strangers.

I look pretty much like my dad, and my son is a better looking version of me, so I'm good without spitting on a swab. I share your aforementioned level of interest in other family, but I can see where some folks think it's interesting to learn where you're from.

My sister dove into our history on Ancestry.com(not via DNA), and confirmed family lore that we're related to Daniel Boone, and what part of Ireland we're from (surname is Irish). That's about as interesting as we get, and I don't think knowing what parts are French, Egyptian, or Chinese would make it any more interesting to me personally.

 

Huh. Apparently there's something special about the third gen of a Toyota truck that makes the forums go crazy. Heard it happened with TW and now it's here on Tundras. I guess the engine thread got nuked because people were going rabid on each other?

I did a search in the member section for a known participant and there's no result, so I was guessing bans happened to. Every likes a good train wreck, right?

Edit: It's okay to say to someone, 'You are acting like an asshole'... but you shouldn't call them an asshole; huge difference

 

I was thinking the same thing. Not that I have any intention of commiting a crime, but once your DNA's in the system, who knows what they'll do with it?

Wife insisted on having the twins tested to see if they were identical but, now that we know they are, I figure if one does something he shouldn't, the other one can be his reasonable doubt.
