    We can talk trash about Android vs Apple, but there is no doubt that Google’s apps and services are light years ahead of Apple.

    I avoided Google (including YT) like the plague for years. Primarily for the privacy issues. However last summer I was in the NW corner of WA and needed an urgent care immediately. I put “nearest urgent care” into Apple Maps and it directed me to a facility in the SE corner of the state. 270 miles away on a route that took me thru the Seattle metro area where there are thousands of urgent cares.

    Apple has better privacy and security but their apps can eat a dick

    Plus you can download maps for offline use. That’s a huge feature and I use it every time I travel to a different country. Assuming I can download a map. Not allowed in places like China

    My wife insists on using the Garmin navigation that's built into her Pilot even though it routinely can't find places she wants to go. Looking it up on Google maps on my phone is always faster and more accurate.
