Plus I got a raise this week, life is good!

 

Yeah I live to play that's for sure. A few years back I had started a new job and I got invited on a private Grand Canyon trip in the middle of summer. My boss told me that if I took the vacation I might not have a job when I get back. It was my 5th trip down the canyon and guess where I still work?

Yeah, that's one of those things that will turn me into and instant PITA for my boss. Don't threaten me. You wanna play fuck fuck games? Let's play. Because I can take malicious compliance to a level you don't want to experience, and I can do it without giving you any justifiable reason to fire me.

I told him if you like the way I do my job and you see performance out of me you have to let me go on trips like these. These types of trips are how I reset and stay motivated at work. I also told him if he didn't agree with that I understand and that I would find work somewhere who did value what I bring to the table. In the end I think he saw my value and how his business benefits from what I do.

Awesome! Some people really do "live to work," and some employers expect that from everybody. Most of us are "work to live" personalities, though. Glad it went your way.

The first couple are always a little rough, but I don't usually feel it until after 1 or 2 in the morning. By the third shift I'm usually doing pretty good. Plus all the night work and such doesn't really happen Friday through Sunday, so that helps.

 

Just like most things. After a few days it's easy to adjust.

Ytube is the worst, no matter what you do there it seems you get a pop up from Google to sign in using your google account. Fuck that!! Tired of Google’s shit. When you don’t log in to their account they make it difficult to do things on your channel using Ytube Studio. Pisses me off but I refuse to log in. I will find a way to post up on my channel then the next time that would not work so I have to find another way. Seems like I am short lived out here because all of this crap gets to me.

 

Google is overly invasive and pushes an agenda really hard.
