To solidify how 100% justifiable your response was, even I know that was a shit bird move on their part. I don't drink and I would have brought at least two 12 packs of the group preferred beer and another 12 pack of whatever water the one or two guys/gals in the group insist on calling beer. That gives everybody a 6 pack if there are two that only like water, or 4 each with two waters for everyone.

 

Now days, no. It was purely hypothetical. However, when I was younger, which would have fit the timeline of married with no kids originally laid out in @Green Thunder 's story, I did go to a few get togethers that had booze. They contributed to why I avoid it and don't drink in my older years.

It's kinda like how your dating standards change over time. I used to be able to tolerate smoking, a little drinking, or even kids from a previous relationship. Now all of those are deal breakers, with the exception of if the kid(s) being old enough and on their own.

Over the last few days, the Tech D-bags over at Microsoft and Y-Tube figured out a way to circumvent my ad blocker on the browser I've been using the past few years. Been getting pop-ups through the ass, and if I clicked on certain sites, it would shut me down and send me back to my home page. Deleted the browser I was using(Brave) and figured I'd try Opera, its actually quite good.

 

The guys at work here said there is something called a "blueberry pie" that is basically an ad denial item that signals pop ups that there is no connection so they don't show up. I'm too much of a troglodyte to know or worry about it, but they swear by it.

 

Nope. I think it’s better than 5G though.

 

What browsers are people using here? I was thinking about going back to Firefox, but I decided to try this first, and I actually think I like this better.
