These two kinda tie together.

They were also called gates classes at our school district. I didn't take quite as much as you but did take woodworking, and auto body. I was young and didn't realize how impactful these were to me. Wish I would've take more advantage of these programs.

You may ask how do they tie together? Bear with me as this is a very generalized blanket statement but does account for a lot of the lack of input youth give towards society because of the lack of input our school system gives them. And I won't get political but I will say that school boards, who are not educators, make decisions on what is important in a youths education. After many years of getting away from learning as the goal and worrying more about the new "important hot button issues/topics" we have raised our youth to focus on things that don't help them. And now we have a society of youth who are fragile with the highest rates of suicide we have ever seen. Is it because we gave them no skill set other than worrying about who follows them on any social platform? If so, it makes sense that this generalized slippery slope then ends in people eating people. Furthermore, my point is exacerbated by the fact that someone sat there and actually recorded this incident, instead of actually helping a fellow community member. Yeah we're fucked.

Walked out the door to come to work and saw this bullshit. It was super crusty from the wind blasting it on there. Delayed me a solid 10 minutes to scrape and defrost the lights and windows

When I was in high school my father had his midlife crisis and bought a first gen Acura NSX. I got to take it out occasionally, usually after he’d had a few drinks on a Friday night.

Some ass hat in a 4Runner tried to keep up with me once.

 

So it requires poor judgement, whether from being a shitwit or being under the influence.

Yep. My first car was a manual, as was my father’s daily driver. So I didn’t learn on the NSX. But Honda manuals have always been next level and the NSX was brilliant.
