Not sure what you burn, but I burnt many when my Mother chased me around the house trying to beat me with a giant ornamental spoon she pulled off the wall.

 

Ah. Definitely a challenge. Kids don't get logic when they are cranky, and it's a snowball effect. Crankiness causes poor behavior, poor behavior causes repercussions, repercussions cause crankiness to get worse. On and on it goes until food/nap/dad stare corrects the situation.

 

If you have your own music ripped to MP3 or FLAC, then you can “side load” it into Spotify. It requires your computer and your device, and then some extra steps to “share” from your computer and then “download for offline” to your device, but it is possible.
I have all my downloaded live Metallica set up that way.
99% of the rest of the stuff, I just build playlists off of what they have already available. It’s usually only more obscure stuff that isn’t.
And they do have “radio” stations kind of like Pandora, but the primary function of Spotify is either your own playlists or finding/trying ones shared by others.

 

The parenting struggle is real. Stay strong.

 

You have to have premium subscription on Spotify to use the download for offline feature, or to side-load your own stuff.
I honestly think the only “pay per song” service out there any more is Apple Music. Maybe Amazon music? I haven’t really looked into it since switching the whole family to Spotify

I know those. My wife/daughter spats started when my daughter was about a month old. Strange enough they have gotten better now that she’s a teenager

 

Finally got my VPN working…I give you Luxembourg.
Saw the new Volkswagen all-electric mini-bus yesterday. Pretty cool looking.

Mine did not want to leave NH to go to University of Vermont BUT Dad drove her anyway ...

4 years later she repays me by landing a great Gig in China teaching... 10 plus years & 2 grandbabies later she is stateside
