    Thank you for asking. Truthfully, I'm not mending near as fast as I would hope. I was able to make it through a full shift today though so that's something. I haven't had something hang on this long since I had COVID. Back then though the work policy was if you're sick just stay home! Lol. Now the policy is either work or get fucked (which is what it always was before covid)

    Went to a local burger joint tonight for dinner. Three burgers, two beers and a soda. $90 with tax and 15% tip.

    I cannot decide if I am irritated the soda cost the same as a beer or I am happy the beers were only $5.50. Think I should be happy about the cheap beers…

    I like having two because both are pretty substantial. It lets me be sick without losing vacation, or use vacation without worrying that I don't get to take time off when I'm down for the count.

    Currently I'm sitting at 470 sick hours and 160 vacation hours. I don't remember the accrual set up for sick as I think it varies with time at the company. I know vacation goes up at intervals of time at the company. End of next year I think I'll kick to where I accrue 5 weeks vacation.

    As for the sick, I think 480 is the max and anything accrued beyond that gets bought out at 1/2 time on the check after your hire date anniversary. It's basically my way of getting an annual bonus, since they quit doing that a long time ago.
