Been without power/internet/cell for 16 hours on Wednesday (heavy snow and lots of broken shit), then spent a day at medical and lawyer appts related to the daughter’s accident. Sat down yesterday afternoon with 257 work emails that require my actual attention… I’ve got it under 150 as of this morning.

 

Daughter is making progress, but first PT isn't for another 1-1/2 and weeks still. Mostly just resting and trying to not go stir crazy. She is currently at her BF's house in town due to the thread of power loss, etc. at our house.

 

Sure, just keep one hand in your pocket. No need to turn it off... Don't try this at home kids

 

EDIT (Ok that is better!): If I were you I would leave your hand in your pocket and hold the copper with your teeth. That should work since I read to just keep one hand in your pocket and your fine.

I'm not the world's most avid audiophile, so I might not know perfect from good. I'm also not a neophyte, even though I'm in the technology industry. I walk about 90 minutes most days, around a park near me. It's boring so I'd like to listen to music or, better, books on Spotify. I also hate having earplugs/earbuds in my ears - just a pet peeve, but I go willingly because there aren't many options for most situations that call for earplugs. All of this disconnected shit got solved today.

Ho-lee sheeeiiiiit. The wind today. I was going about 5 MPH at a couple points of my 3 mile commute today, because I lost the hood of my truck in the white out blizzard. I tried to get a pic, but missed the heaviest white out sections. I'll see how they turned out on the phone and post.

Lost as in I couldn't see the hood because of the blowing snow. Happened at 3 different spots on my road.

Shit, who knows. It's all getting picked up and blown around! We only had about 3 inches of snow prior to me falling asleep around noon today. Not sure if anything falling in this storm is actually hitting the ground with this wind. Might all just end up in Nebraska.
