No, it's not worth the battle. I've taught her to shoot, fish and camp. She's perfectly capable of driving my truck and willing to learn how to back the boat trailer down the launch. Driving manual though is where she draws the line.

This is soooo true when dealing w/compulsions; especially for those of us who lean toward addictive/compulsive tenancies

 

I'm on the mend, but still only feel about 80% at my peak. Doc said this cough is likely to stick around for 4-6 weeks after the fever stage. I'm just pleased to be starting to feel like I'm conscious some of the day. The heavy fever days were a bit of a blur and I was in a half aware state most of the time I was awake.
