Na, it's on the sides too. Doesn't take much room for those little bastards to squeeze in. The whole thing is just old and worn out, door, seals, mounting wood, track. 45 years takes its toll.

I think @RichterScale was asking about our 'moist' climate a few days ago...

These photos were from today (BTW weather showed rain)... As usual we had some sun, some clouds and a little fog; 55 high 45 low (our typical fall into winter weather)....

    just before sunset:

a little further south and after sunset:

last one... from the beach looking up about 60-80' at homes along the coast:

I'm not surprised. They've been partnered with Renault for too long.

The dealerships are still CDJR, though.

Day two of not sleeping well. Enjoying the initial caffeine buzz this morning, but know the crash is coming soon.

I'm happy I got off the coffee. I love the stuff, but it was worse for my sleep than liquor. Plus my guts are much better now.

So I've been trying something lately and it seems to be working. I heard it on a podcast from a professor of neuroscience at Standford so feel like it has a little merit to it. Delaying your caffeine intake after you wake up can help prevent the crash that you feel later on.

Interesting. But I drink tea, which has less caffeine than coffee. And on a typical day I don’t make tea until after I get to work…which is about 90 minutes from when I get out of bed.

I grab coffee before I can even see straight.
Every morning since probably late teens.
My guts are already fucked and I don't really have mid day crashes or take naps. Even at 50, I still can't take naps. There's days I get home from work and feel like I can go right to sleep. I'll even lay down. But I almost never actually fall asleep.
I used to drink pot after pot of coffee when younger. Now it's just 2-3 cups in the morning. Very rarely will I drink any late in the day. Maybe in the colder months, I might feel like a cup after shoveling to warm up. But I might have decaf.
This wasn't really a plan, I just started drinking less as I got older and only in the morning. But I always have a cup first thing.
    Can't see that changing.

I've been wearing the same belt everyday for almost 13 years for everything from working in the welding shop to wearing it with a suit for interviews. It still looks almost new.

I love coffee. 2 cups daily. We will probably ditch our Keurig and go back to the old coffee mixer. Found a real nice one on sale, and it would be cheaper than replacing K-cups with new flavors all of the time.

When I drank coffee, French Press and cold brewing were my favorites. Cold brewing is just so much work...

Espresso machine is where it's at! Have one that I just put in beans and water and poof I have espresso.

Haven't tried French press yet but I'm intrigued.

You should do a quick write (with pics of course) and explain to all of us the process of essentially and perfect French Pressing

If 'poof' is where your heart is, then FP is not for you...

French Press is a like a mature woman that needs and wants your attention to detail; your time spent savoring each step of the process from start to completion; and to see you enjoying the journey as much, if not more than, the destination!!!!

    Shit I gotta go.... :D
