Once upon a time I was doing some work in Missoula. As we drove in from the airport there is a giant RV dealer. As I looked at the lot I could estimate an extremely high dollar value of the REs sitting on the lot. Certainly more RVs than residents of Missoula could ever purchase. I then learned from a local that the RV dealer has an attorney on staff who sets up LLCs for folks from out of state who travel there to purchase RVs to avoid paying sales tax in their home states. For the amount of money involved it makes sense.

That and frame torque. Toyota has never built rigid/stiff frames. That much power channeling thru a frame built for whatever underpowered engine it came with will be interesting.

Depends on what you tell the insurance company. Just because it is titled and licensed in MT, does not mean that is the situs of the RV. You could tell the insurance company it is primarily garaged in CO and you would be fine. On the other hand, if you tell insurance company that it is sitting in MT and you have a garage fire in CO where the RV is always parked then you have a problem.
