If I was a force-wielder, I wouldn’t use it for good or evil. But if you were at a community outdoor movie night and chose to sit in the back and talk the entire time, I’d make you shit yourself and then start clucking like a chicken.

    Just saying…

I was sleeping so good this morning that I was lazy and showed up to work 10 minutes before my shift. Thankfully it was a quiet night and the handoff was easy.

The late start made me appreciate the remote start on the Taco so much. Instead of starting it up and having to sit there for a minute while the oil got moving, like I did with the Tundra, I got to pop it up in the phone to start it and continue my fugue state zombie shuffle around the house. Then, as soon as I got in the truck I could pull away without feeling guilty.

Question: Did anyone with a Blackstone order it from their website, or did all of you pick them up locally? Asking because I ordered/paid on 7/12 and, though I got a confirmation of the order, it didn't ship yet. I'm not super worried because I figure it may take a couple days to process and then ship, and that would put it right in the weekend, but I'm excited to get my hands on it. :playball:

    Sounds dreamy.
When I stand up out of bed, gravity wins and compresses my spine. My bowels feel like I ate rocks and washed em down with a glass of spoiled milk before bed and when I get to work it's like a bunch of clowns chasing greased headless chickens around with everything in the background on fire.
Once in a great while a morning will go fairly smoothly. It's nice, but I don't trust those days. Always waiting for a piano to fall on me or something.

That would be nice, I've got that guilt too.

I've said it a few times to my wife but she usually just takes off after the key is turned. She at least has to back out of the garage slowly at idle, that helps my ocd. :D

Not to mention the 4.7l manifold tick is more pronounced when cold, let that baby warm up a minute!

I usually try to start it up before I'm fully comfortable so it at least gets the time for me to be situated, adjust the temp/radio, and get belted in. With the Tundra I would actually use my had to depress the break and start it before I got up into the truck. The Taco is push button, and leaning in to start it doesn't work most of the time. The FOB in my pocket is just far enough outside that it usually won't start.

True. You'll just have the worry of whether or not she plugged it in and has enough juice. Or you can worry about her forgetting to unplug it and driving off with it attached to the charger.

I ordered straight from BS. I forget shipping, but it was around a week or two.

Yep! I love it. It’s scheduled every morning by 630A to be at the temp I want. If not? No worries at all. Won’t harm anything, or I can just do it on the fly and it’s good to go in a couple of mins or less (if I chose to wait it out to get rid said temp). I keep my steering wheel and drivers seat heated to auto so it’ll adjust to temp if I want the heater on…I can also adjust the severity of heat for all others along with many other options / tools.

I did the blackstone official site, because it is the only way I could find the 17" with the handle I wanted. I know, it's a little thing, but I went to the hardware store and actually played with a few. They had one of the 22s with the orange rubber/silicone handle, and I definitely preferred it to the bare metal. I want that extra insulation for some of the cold mornings.

If you forget to charge it, it’s like fuel…you know when you’re low.
Tesla won’t move with a charger cord in it. As soon as you hit the brake, you get a warning and cannot shift it out of park

Really? Mine was only 2 years newer and required it. I thought everything for the last decade had that "feature" on it.

Do they text obscenities at you when you forget to charge and are stuck in charging lines for hours waiting for 350 miles of range?

The long lines you see are if it’s in some severely overcrowded area for whatever reason….just like a gas station would and does have ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The thing is, is with the SC network, they keep growing and growing and growing which means less lines.
