The owner of DT made big donations to the anti-legalize it campaign here. Thankfully, life always finds a way…….

also if your at DT in the morning first thing, your usually out by 8-9am

Mine will be done in five minutes. Think this is the first time they’ve pulled my truck into the bay on schedule ever. Normally I arrive at 8:15 for my 8:30 appt and the truck is being driven in around 9am.

    So I’ve noticed, they notice……
If you show up before they open, while they are doing their pep talk/cheer session, someone is writing down who shows up to the lot first. So even if Barbra has a 8am appt, they usually pass right by Barbra and go to the first person who was on the lot waiting, end up beating Barbra out of the stalls and back onto the road.

I read a bunch, but still having some challenges he’s understanding the differences of a proxy vs VPN. Does anyone have any experience with proxy and can dumb it for me, and any recommended apps for them if so? (Hopefully one that isn’t stupid slow)

I know VPN encrypts all data. Proxy only limits to those you add? I just want my IP hidden I suppose (no real reason) and not tracked all the time when just cruising random websites

VPN is point to point encryption of the data transfer. Your connection to the remote system is encrypted, and the IP of the remote system is what is presented.

Proxy is more like firewall where traffic is routed or blocked based on your settings.

If you want your IP "invisible" you need VPN or Tor.

So, without making a conscious decision to do so, it has become a habit to smile at people when they screw up driving. I have noticed like the past four times someone has pulled out in front of me or slammed on the brakes just before pulling out in front of me all I did was give them a big grin and continue on with my day. Probably throws them for a loop seeing as most of the time when someone makes a mistake driving they usually get yelled at or flipped off.

Oil changed on the truck and did multiple tasks on the trailer. Finally got to use my new impact wrench to reset the trailer weight distribution hitch. That was fun. Sun came around and I started melting so the truck will get washed tomorrow.

So, on the topic of blowing kisses. I am someone who almost always will match the tone and play along with whatever shenanigans are going on as long as nobody is getting hurt and sometimes I even attempt to one up. In high school guys would blow each other kisses just to mess with their buddies head. I decided to reverse things and mess with their head. When they would blow me a kiss I would catch it, and then I would ram it down my pants :rofl:

I need to change mine. And do both diffs, transfer case, and should do power steering too. Ugh… that’s a lot of stuff to buy.

trying to decide if I should get a drill pump for filling the diffs. And an evacuator to make the power steering easier

I absolutely love my drill pump. Only thing that's as good as the drill pump is the bags of oil that you can just squeeze into the diff like Valvoline and I think amsoil.

I always go with whatever reputable brand is priced the best. Between all the parts stores there's usually something on sale. For example, when I did my Tacoma the Valvoline pouches were on sale at Napa. You really can't go wrong as long as you are running oil that is specced for what the manual calls for (or at least close to what it calls for, gear oil gives you room to play. I'm running 75 90 instead of 75 85 like the manual calls for and for people who tow a lot sometimes they get even thicker gear oil. From everything I have seen and read the one and only side effect of going thicker can be potentially worse gas mileage)
