I drove past this on the way home a few hours ago. It must've just happened because there was only one cop there, trying to open the door of what used to be the cab. It looked upside down. And there were 4 cars stopped and everyone had a look of shock on their face. This is a pic from the police website. I past the rest of the cavalry after I made my turn and weaved through it all. Good timing because they closed the whole section of road down 5 min later.
I didn't notice the bed off to the side because I was looking at the cop yanking on the driver door and the pile shit on fire about 10' away that looked like the engine. Still can't figure out how it went down. There's another truck off the road in the pic.

 

I'm just glad I didn't get a flat while driving through some of the shit in the road. Especially since I was pulling the trailer.

 

As I turned the corner and drove on, 4 patrol cars, a fire engine and 3 ambulances came screamin by. I mean, I had a pry bar, ratchet straps and my Leatherman, but I figured I'd let them handle it.

 

Rumor has it he used to drive a mustang.

Just got back from our annual family 4TH Celebration as today was supposedly going to be less of a washout then tomorrow. Ended up with a beautiful day and didn't rain till we headed for home. Hope you all have a great one tomorrow.

Me entire drive from PHX to Flag was trying to play Pole Position around Florida and Georgia plates doing 10 under.

I think there’s something in the AZ air that turns most out of state drivers into idiots

 

The in-state drivers aren’t much better…

 

Same in our area... no stops, no yielding, but 10-15 under; constant braindead zombie mode

 

It almost looks like it 'focused' on the water ripples, but the sun and its rays got blurry and washed

 

Not @LarryDangerfield level, but saw several Freedom Hawks out on the river today when we cruised up to the dam where my dad used to work.

Saw my 1st blowout on that road. Semi in front of the silver Accord in front of me had the entire tread unwind and fly right over the top of the Accord. She was white knuckled in the left lane with the truck in the right, and she refused to go around him for like 5 miles.
