Wasn't someone just talking about dreams last week? Funny, that came up and now I've had weird dreams the last 2 nights.
My wife says I mumble a lot in my sleep.
A few weeks ago she said I yelled out clear as day, like I was wide-awake, "go fuk yourself".
Meh, sounds like me. I don't remember what I was dreaming, but I assumed it had something to do with work.

 

My 70 Mach1 (bought it when I was 17 for $3500) wasn't behind the plate, but it was dead center above the rear bumper.

Sleeping in the trailer typically isn’t the best sleep, especially if I go to bed before I’m exhausted. Such was the case last night and I slept like crap. Got about eight hours, but woke up every 30-45 minutes to shift position. Ugh. Tired and sore.

Headed out to the local Res this morning to stock up on unsafe and insane fireworks. It’s always a bit surreal to me with the tribes banking money off US holidays.

Reminds me when we visited the four corners during our trip to CO years ago. That was a bit mental for me. First nation peoples lived in that area for centuries. Then the US Govt drew lines on a map and created this random four-corner junction. Now multiple tribes use it as a tourist destination to sell their wares.

Think I need some coffee.

On the drive to Montana Friday night

 

First thing we did is put the same mattress we have at home into the trailer. Probably the bigger contributor to my heavy pin weight. The issue is it’s a full size, arranged sideways and I’m stuffed in the corner.

Thanks for the racing tip. Got my coffee and watching the Lamborghini Super Trofeo! Also set the DVR to record the Nascar race so we can watch that soon.

Daughter heard the wailing Lambo engines and is now watching with me. I’m in deep chit when she starts dating. She’s always loved the scream of a racing engine. Thankfully she laughs at anything smaller than a V8.

Dang… and I’ve had mine a year longer. Then again, your work takes you everywhere.

Doesn’t help I stayed home for almost two years. I used to drive 15-17k a year, but not anymore. The kid isn’t taking his car to college, so I’ll have a commuter come Sept. Bet I won’t put more than about 5k on the truck every year going forward.

I found a small, wooden Buddha that was maybe 10" tall and put it on a neighbor's porch. It freaked him out, he said he started sleeping with his gun and stuff. I let it go for a few days before I fessed up.

 

I would have found another one and put it on his back porch.

 

Hurricane is right outside of Zion National Park. My suggestion is that you take a road trip to visit Zion (BTW you got to do a hike into the Narrows), and then check on the rig at the same time. If there's issues w/the rig... Oh well, it was a beautiful trip. If there's not, trailer that shit home... WIN/WIN

Spent too much at the Res, but such is life. This 4th is going to be epic. Just took the dog to the beach and let him run wild. Now he’s processing a new CBD treat and hopefully will be snoring for a few hours.

Time to relax and hydrate cuz martinis are in the future!
