mega ouch. I’m trying to figure out how I’d handle that. It is easy to say “if it was me I’d honor the deal”. But $10k is a chitton of money. If I’m being honest, I’d burn bridges with family for less than that. There are lots of people that would honor it and they are better people than me.

I won’t post how I might do it differently as I’m not in that situation and don’t want to insult either party. I am glad both parties are being reasonable in that thread and the OP owned up. We need more of that in this world
