Good morning folks. We got a bit of snow last night. The temps in the area are above freezing, so one of those weird atmospheric conditions. Won’t last very long. Probably just long enough to create a bunch of accidents on the freeway.

Time to get up and make breakfast sandwiches!

 

Oof. You going to take the OT, or would you rather spend the time with family before going on nights?

We are forecasted to get some snow this morning too. I’m ready for it to be done already this year.

Something I really wish my tundra had. I mean, I still shove stuff back there but not as accessible.

 

I honestly didn’t eat again until 2pm yesterday. Guess cutting one meal out of the day is a diet…

 

Intermittent fasting is the term all the kids are using these days.

 

I want one more big dump, but don’t think it will happen. What we have now is just a shart of snow.

Cooked the bacon first and then the sausage patties in the bacon grease. Game changer!

Last night was my night to sleep amazing

 

3” overnight and still coming down hard here. On top of the 7” that was still lingering from earlier this week… my hill is the last place in the area to thaw.

We’re getting snow in the valley right now

Three separate trips to town yesterday - one to Battle Ground (13 miles each way plus detours), one to Portland (30 miles each way) and one to the vet in Vancouver (20 miles each way). That’s after getting home at 11pm from the airport.

I’m ready to just do nothing today. Organize my thoughts and order stuff I need for honey dos or just home projects.

 

I feel like you guys are having an off year this year. But then again, I haven’t followed AZ weather as closely as I have this year since I keep going down there.

 

We will get snow every winter, but it seems to be a very wet winter over the normal, should be fantastic for wildfire season…….

 

Yeah, you got hammered down there the past week. Heard Portland was predicted to get about 1” and got 10”. Typical weather predictions for the NW.

 

It’s been quite fucky this winter. I haven’t looked at the totals, but it feels like we are way up on rainfall this season.
