I'm on Fri-Sun, day shift.

 

Got anything planned for tomorrow night?

 

Been out of town the last few weekends. I think I have some house painting (Interior) planned this tomorrow night. 3 stage set up. This will be stage 1. Painting super black. End result won’t be solid black

dark stained wood slats. Undecided of 1x8 (expensive AF) or 1x6 (cheaper) and less work than 1x4 and want more wood look. Matches the flooring

wiring some black gothic type wall lights. Tbd on how many and also hanging guitars.

 

I’ll be patching and painting this weekend too because the oldest decided to push a small trampoline down the stairs. Actually surprised it didn’t do more damage.

 

Well that definitely needs pics of the process and finished product!

 

I’ll take some. I’m super bad about taking pics in general, but i know she will. Also, I’ve had this planned for over a year…. Maybe two? Wife has been getting on me about it. I think once we start it should move quickly
the wood staining and cutting process will take months, but To start a marathon have to take the first step.

I’d leave it for now. Trampoline upstairs only leads to bad things

 

I would but my OCD won’t let me leave it. I’m surprised there hasn’t been a hot wheels track down the stairs yet with tons of marks from those.

Pfft...I have 4-5 dents around my house in the distinct shape of remote controls and cell phones and gaming controllers. All from me. Each with it's own hilarious (not so much) story that ends with "But I feel much better"....

 

Not going to lie...my earlier ShockPirate comment was because I forgot to flip my phone into landscape...thought we were talking about your "Not a SWPirate" comment. Total FNG move...

I’m glad I’m not the only one. This one was the kids but the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

 

Was out in the snow all day today w/pups and such....

It's fun when you don't have it all the time and especially when you don't have to deal w/it around work!!!!

 

That would depend on how you use it..

We have both of those mentioned here and right now the latter is the preferred due to "perks" BUT they all have $0 balances

They both "ask to jump your limit" when they see little or no use and then just do it...... They "WANT you to THINK" you can spend it all and then

Collect their interest plus

With that being said, we also have cards with our "Local banks" to help keep the lines of communication open for business or "oh-$hit" moments..

That has helped us throughout this last year of "turbulence"

Filler, smooth it out and paint. If I want to get real fancy I’ll do some of that spray texture too. Someday I’d like to do that wall in shiplap or board and batten to dress the stairs up a bit.
