Lol no worries. It's been like 5 weeks or even longer since I last posted in here about it. For a refresher, he was originally going to buy my tires but then he messaged me saying his wife's tumor got worse and could no longer purchase them. I felt so bad that they were going through all that so I offered them to him for free. Then I posted it on here and Tacomaworld not for recognition, but to remind people there's still good in this world and for everyone to contribute to making the world better. The guys on TW had the idea to take monetary donations and give that to him as well. Understandably stuff stalled out a bit with all things that were going on for him right now. Now today I finally get to meet him and drop off the cash and tires :)

That being said, I am horrendously addicted to the forums and all that they entail lol

But yeah 4.7L V8, same as the first gen Tundras. Only downfall is the short wheel base, so I can't full send on big whoops like a full sized truck would. It's still super fun

The day that I didn't check in for 24 hours made me start guessing all of my life choices! I need my internet truck friends and that Tesla one too I guess.

So not EVERY thread on TW is a dumpster fire? I’ve never had reason to dig around there, just heard the rumors

While I cannot deny that there are far more dumpster fires over there than here, there also are some really great things that happen and some really great people. A few times now I have seen a member pass away and the members family gets taken care of. I have also seen people travel up to 8 hours to help someone who is stuck, stranded, or in some sort of situation of need. It is very common over there for someone to need work done on their truck and for the price of beer or sometimes dinner people will work on someone's vehicle.

Well, someone is cutting onions. I'm so, so grateful to have been able to help him out. His tires were mismatched and unsafe. Learned some more and apparently he's had some major health issues as well and all those bills are weighing him and his wife down. Do good everyone, make this world better, take care of each other and try your best to put yourself in someone else shoes.

Also, I've never caught a trout before and he said he'd take me to some good spots to catch one so that's pretty cool :)

Glad some good is happening in the world today. I’m stuck in endless meetings with people unable to make decisions because they refuse to face reality. So they talk and talk (without saying much) until they are confused enough to believe the lies.

    Kidding of course.

I have a (much smaller than those) Yaupon just outside my office window. During snowmageddon it was tough for birds to find food, and maybe they were too hungry to be the quarrelsome little shits they all are. I had Cedar Waxwings, Robins, Blue Jays, Mockingbirds, and Sparrows all picking berries at the same time, and not fighting at all. It's too small a tree for a dozen and a half birds, but they all seemed to fit.

    Great pics, as always.

Back in the '70's my Dad kept seeing the hyped up ads for screens like this one that were supposed to boost gas mileage. He didn't want to waste money on what was probably snake oil, but he decided it was worth a try so he made his own. He said it didn't have any affect on mileage, but cold weather starts were a lot easier and cold idle was a lot smoother. The screen he used was a lot finer than this one.
