They look good. But it's almost time to take them off and redo them. Not sure if I want to redo them the same of go with something easier to touch up like you said. Decisions decisions.

If you are up for it, I am curious where you are seeing wear and tear. I might double up some protection on mine before install just to give me more time between repairs.

Some foods that are technically toxic will do that. Onions, garlic, grapes, raisins, chocolate, etc. Can she get ahold of any of these? Also, artificial sweetners like what is in gum will make dogs sick. Kids aren't spitting gum where she can get it?

My sisters cat had the stinkiest farts ever while he lived in an appt with her, when he moved in with my mom, the gas stopped. We think it was something in the water at the complex

    She's a Lab.
I don't think it is as much what we feed her as what she finds to eat that we don't feed her.
She's also still super high energy (at almost 5 yrs old). Can't sit still until about 8pm. Can't stop wiggling and wagging or doing something all the time...she'll hump the older female like a puppy to burn energy. I can throw the ball for her for an hour and she will show no signs of stopping (throwing the ball involves 40+ yard throws with the chuck-it). She went on a 9 mile hike with my wife last Saturday (which the dog easily did 2x that off-leash) and came home completely unphased.
She's got an odd habit of constantly licking the floor, especially in the kitchen, which leads to a lot of gas in the stomach, which leads to both burps and farts. I think it's as much burning energy (like everything else) as it is liking the taste of the floor immediately in front of the stove.
She's a Lab, so her brain is missing the "I'm full" switch (and she's way worse than others we've had). She will eat chicken shit in the yard. She will break into the compost area to eat kitchen compost. She will eat dead things that the cats leave laying around the yard. She will eat other dogs' shit if it's nice and warm and fresh.
The probiotic helps a LOT. It took her from farting constantly to only noticing it every couple days. More of a comical nuisance than anything.

It was just funny because I heard her rip ass behind me (which is actually rare) and then she walked out of the room. Then the other one got up and walked out. Then I smelled it...about the time the older one rang the bell we have tied on the front door knob that means "let me out."

Definitely makes it difficult to problem solve when she's got access to all that extra stuff... Interestingly, the number one reason for excessive licking (floor, windows, and other surfaces) is due to gastrointestinal discomfort; which like you already know causes excess gas and bloating. It's a vicious cycle. Something you may want to try adding is a high quality plain yogurt. If you add some fresh blueberries to it, scoop it into round treat size bites, put them onto a tray covered w/a sheet of parchment paper and freeze... they'll turn into frozen treats that she'll love licking and chewing on that contains extra probiotics to help keep her belly healthy.

Another option to try is canned pumpkin. Not pumpkin pie filling, but just crushed natural pumpkin (you can find this in natural food aisles or by canned yams, etc.). Pumpkin is very fibrous and helps w/digestion by absorbing things that may be causing her to have an upset stomach. Start small (1-2 tablespoons/day) and work up just a bit over time (too much will cause the runs).

We have fresh pumpkin and squash galore around here (wife works at a couple of local farms). Might give that a try - it's easy to roast and freeze. The good thing about Labs - they aren't finnicky eaters and don't question what you put in their food dish. We have played with yogurt a few times...didn't seem to make much difference over the probiotic pill she gets every morning (Herbsmith brand). We've also talked about giving her two instead of just one. Their primary diet is Honest Kitchen freeze-dried grain-free food, and both of our dogs have done really well on that compared to anything/everything else we've tried over the years. The older one has a lot of skin allergy issues if she gets any grain (which we also don't eat much of ourselves), and even the grain-free kibble have been problematic for her.

Costs as much to feed the two dogs as it does to feed my kids.

You're not kidding... I just said to my wife it's ironic that we have a safe w/"stuff" locked away for safekeeping, etc... yet in the same room, I've got $1k of dog food sitting on the floor. I've fed Royal Canin for years now; once they made their PFP (professional feeding program) available here in the US. So, the PFP allows me to purchase for personal use (sounds like I'm buying dope plants) at 25% or more under retail, plus free shipping.... For me their food has been the most consistent w/maintaining digestive issues, etc.. w/pups over the years, and I have not seen a recall from them yet. Several years ago it would cost us about $42/bag for lab formula (for the Mals) and about $38-40/bag for their large breed sensitive stomach formula (for a couple of our dogs w/stomach issues). Obviously, they've increased prices over the years, but the last three years have gone through the roof. I think as of Feb 27th lab formula will be over $85/bag ($105/bag retail), sensitive stomach is being discontinued and the next best formula is large breed digestive is over $80/bag ($99/bag retail).

Don't these people realize I'm on a fixed income... these increases 2/3 times a year are cutting into my Tundra budget something fierce!!!!!

    This guy gets it!

we end up doing almost everything else on campus due to the competency of the other trades, but technically I’m “emergency on call” so whatever these pipsqueaks deem a emergency, we need to come down. Luckily I’m close so I can knock them out and get home or knock them out and double dip with hours if I can clock out before the next call(we get 2hours automatically for each punch)
I just clocked out of a double dip, destroyed ladies bathroom, it woulda put some of you to shame!

Hahaha no way, I’m a pro. I only got a few kernels on the rim. It was something solid for sure because the go to plunger couldn’t get it, so I had to go get a wide mouth to get better suction on the trap. I did close my mouth, which I’m not sure was the better decision……

One of the worst back ups I had to come out on looked similar to that gif, and the kids were walking around in the wet hallway barefoot!!!!!!! I was ankle deep so it’s not like I was cleaner, but wtf this is black water you morons!!!
