Tonight I learned I have another life rule.

Yes, I dislike single-use plastics. No, when I’m doing the dishes I’m not washing plastic forks.

 

I used to work with a guy who would bring a plastic spoon to work for his lunch then take it home and wash it so he could bring it again the next day.

We give our daughter a plastic fork from time to time. I'll wash and reuse them if it means she doesn't stab herself in the tonsils.

The street meters aren't terrible, I think it was $3.50 for 1.5hrs. Better than the Seattle waterfront!

Ok, sorry for the stupid questions... But, it looks like I can run north through Bellevue then take the 522 east (Steven's pass), or... I can turn just after Tacoma east onto the 90 then take the 97 north. Any benefits road maintenance conditions, views, etc. this time of year??

If you are coming north into Bellevue, it is probably better to take I-90 to Blewett Pass / Hwy 97 and then backtrack to Leavenworth.

Highway 2 over Stevens Pass can turn into a dumpster fire really quickly.

 

That’s where we are camping next spring. No more Walmart crowds at Lake Wenatchee SP.
