Nice! Big weekend/day off plans?

Monday #2 for me. Started out with the gate frozen shut from the backyard to the front yard. Normally not a big deal but it was trash day and is the only way to get the cans to the street with how full the garage is right now. Here I am at 5:30 in the morning pouring hot water on the latch in the freezing fog trying to get it open. I did win and still made it to work by 6:00.

 

That sounds like a pretty typical Monday #2 kind of start. You conquered it, though.


Basic errands are the plan for this week off. I was toyoing with the idea of visiting a friend a few hours away, but the weather this weekend and my damn kidney are making me think that might not be a great idea.

 

Congrats. I'm on my 4th Saturday of 7.

2nd day of having the A/C on in December, wife gave me a 'honey do' of getting a gun safe to 'get all of those guns out of the closet', and an entire vacation day went by without an Avenger's Level Event at work that required my input. Not sure at this point if I'm still dreaming, if I'm in the actual Upside-Down, or if that wasn't really a microdose.

 

It's relaxing for sure. I'm low-stress in the first place, so I'm in a happy place.

 

Damn kidney not cooperating. Doesn't it know that it is the weekend!?

IDK what it knows, but at least it's not as bad as the first one I had. Still not sure that's what this is, but feels like it.

Yeah, this might be a result of the super long drives to and from Texas and the couple days spent there. I was loopy AF and not paying attention to my fluid intake. Probably only had 80 ounces of water in a 4 day period.
