Barely awake, but it's my Friday. Took a sip of my sugar free Red Bull, and forgot I had spearmint gum in my mouth. That is a very tart slap to the face. You guys should try it.

 

True, but now I might have to get some OJ to mix with the Red Bull.

I pretty sure that Red Bull contains more crap that your liver has to process than an ounce or two of vodka

Maybe. IDK. What I do know is that the liver is a very resilient organ capable of regenerating after a partial donation. It's amazing, and the only internal organ I am aware of that can do that. And alcohol kills it.

 

anything that the body identifies as a "poison"; such as alcohol, chemicals (shit on the ingredients list that you can't pronounce), etc. (basically anything that is unnatural to the body) is processed by the liver before the liver will process anything of 'value'. All of it is 'toxic' to the liver and will cause damage.

I hear you. I'm just particularly anti booze due to personal life experiences. Other people can drink all they want, as long as I don't have to be around it.

 

Kinda felt bad for the baristas that will be loosing their job with the new Starbuck’s store model. Then I waited 15 minutes for a barista to make 3 drinks before she looked at me and said “hi”.

If a customer has been waiting 15 minutes cuz you slow AF, then you start with “Sorry for the wait…”.
