I just do not get the perma political bans. I got one, ONCE. That showed me where the line was, and it's not particularly hard not to cross it. Hell, I've had some funny memes that were possibly political, so I asked the mods and they were more than happy to tell me yay or nay.... and to copy and share them elsewhere, too!

 

I like seeing just the ends of movies sometimes, without having to watch the whole thing develop. Might be fun to lay those threads out, though, as a warning of what not to do. At least for people who couldn't take the advice 'just don't be a dick'.

I hate daylight saving time, but I much prefer turning the clocks back for an extra hour of sleep vs the bullshit we do in spring.

 

Two days of rain and wind…and we just lost power.

 

Bummer. Hope it's something simple for them to fix.

We've been seeing lots of power issues at sites throughout the state, too. Wind plus snow just messes stuff up around here, and we had a gnarly blizzard last night. Everything is iced up.

 

Not as cool as the free trampoline I got from the windstorm for a few hours before the neighbors came and took it back.

We added a foam gravestone to our Halloween decorations when the wind blew it into our yard a couple years ago. Looks like it blew away this year. Oh well, easy come, easy go.

I think the only way they could get away with not paying it is if it was a salaried position. Otherwise, set a timer. I was here for 13 hours, you pay me for 13 hours. That, or I'd leave at my usual 12. I also only claim 11 when I work the retarded spring forward shift.

Did it not have straps to hold it? This also reminds me that I forgot to get the cover on my RZR before all this nonsense hit. Very thankful for marine grade electronics.
