No idea how to rid myself of this 4am-wide-awake crap on the weekends. Got some decent exercise yesterday and stayed up later than normal. You’d think I’d be exhausted.

 

Those look so much better in black. Someone in my neighbourhood has a white one and the contrast with the black trim looks dorky as hell.

 

Nobody wants to try and keep the black paint clean!

White was my preference when building/pricing one.

Did you play the video a couple of posts down? The thing sounds like a 1995 Honda Civic with a trash can muffler. I'm sure the '22 is great, or will be once the knots are worked out; but don't make it sound like a rice cake...

 

I did play it, but the speakers are not great. I saw the DirtyDeeds set up tease video a while back and wasn't super impressed, so if Keith can't make it amazing I don't have high hopes for the sound potential in general.

Just ask Ford, you can never make a V6 sound like a V8. Especially with a turbo in the mix. The 2nd gen Raptor with the 2nd gen Ecoboost sounds like a hornet’s nest

Yeah, it reminds me of a gag I got a buddy to play on his Dad years ago. His Dad has always wanted to have a beard, but he just can't grow one. Gets an awesome 'stache going, but can't grow a beard to save his life. Well, I convinced his oldest kid to tell his Dad "It wasn't easy, but I finally got you something that I know you've wanted for a super long time, Dad. You're gonna love it." and other things to play it up for like a month before his Dad's birthday, and then when he opened the box it was a stick on trimmable beard.
