It’s becoming over populated and California 2.0, but nowhere near as restrictive

    At least it’s sunny.
It was 45 and windy for us at the track last night. Then they called it for rain just before the main event.
    And it’s snowing here today

Right, it's about a decade or two behind, but on the same track. In 10-5 years I bet Idaho is just like Colorado is now, but it won't be nearly as restrictive as Colorado will be at that point.

Bummer it interfered. How's the snow? Going to actually stick, or just make stuff slick and muddy?

True, but you need to think about what color will look best when dirty, water spotted, muddy, and neglected. That's why I'm looking at whites, grays, and silvers! :)

Just making a mess of shit. Sticking well in the mountains though. Timberline had 13” in the last 24 hours, and is on track for 3-5 feet this week.

Yeah lol. There’s a family of them that live in that jungle of overgrowth down the road from our new house. We saw the peacock all puffed up a couple weeks ago in the driveway. I’m curious where they will go when the new owners bulldoze everything…

Well, not an option on the Challenger, but even if it were, I'm not a huge fan of it. I prefer cement. :sorry:

I was just using HOA as a specific example of the kinds of problems I'd rather avoid in my very rural state. Canada's got national laws that make me cringe, and there are plenty advocating implementation of similar things down here.

I really hope you're talking about your truck right now. o_O

The one behind the car is about 1-1/2 years old. When he first showed up last March, he looked like a female.

into the trees above your house. They have a range of about a mile or so.
This is Kevin (and Zukie, not giving a shit). Nelson is the juvenile. And Josephine is the female. They are not ours...they just showed up one day (Kevin in 2018, and Josie and Nelson in 2021).

I’d be ok if they re-homed our way. We have a friend that raises them about a half mile south of the new place. These may have been some of their old ones that got away. Now they have netting over the coop/pen/whatever the term is for these guys.

Don't be sorry. I love cement too. Fiat does offer a cement-ish gray.

Only during mating season (April through early July) and even then not really that bad. Their call is loud - it can carry for miles. When they are startled they will honk or cry out - they actually act a bit like watch dogs. The mating cry they only do a few times a day... I honestly think our chickens make more noise overall than the peacocks do...unless something gets them going.

One thing - they are peeping Toms. They like to stand on the porch roof and peak in my daughter's bedroom window.

Not surprising. We have no idea where these ones came from. They just showed up (the first one anyway). Then the other two made their way here and stayed. Oddly enough, another male came through last summer and these two chased it off within a day. We heard that he settled in about 3-4 miles away.

Indeed. They've have a couple variations. Previously they had battleship grey and it was quite a bit darker, but currently they are offering Smokeshow and I really love it. I just worry that it'd be like Cavalry Blue and EVERY little nick will turn into a bright white scratch. I live down a gravel road, so anything I drive will never be a pristine show car.

    They sound like absolute characters!

We get geese and ducks around during the warm times, but I really love the Sandhill Cranes that come and raise their little families close by.

Every time I see that kind of garage floor I briefly think "Who TF puts carpet in a garage?!" and then my brain catches up and slaps me. :smack:
